History and Organization
Located in Montevideo, Uruguay, our firm was founded in 1996 by Luis Lapique and Mauricio Santeugini immediately after graduating together from the Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
We have grown steadily for more than 10 years and have the goal to continue growing, in order to provide better services for our clients and better careers for the people working with us, that will allow them to grow within our firm and personally.
In 2006 Lapique & Santeugini Abogados was accepted as a member of the International Alliance of Law Firms (more) for Uruguay, becoming a member of an organization with more than 50 legal firms worldwide, that specialize in business law.
Every member of our firm is trained to provide high quality services and solutions. We work in close and permanent contact with our clients in order to achieve the best knowledge of their industry and their organization.
Our legal advice is generally integrated with a multidisciplinary team of accountants and public notaries, in order to solve all the clients’ problems considering the tax effects of our recommendations. We offer our clients personalized attention and expect to achieve a thorough knowledge of their company and business, that will allow us to always give them adequate and timely advice.
